2 men drown at Lake Cumberland in separate apparent incidents, local coroners say

Two Kentucky men died in separate apparent drowning incidents over the weekend at Lake Cumberland, local coroners said.

In one case, investigators responded to a report of a person in the water near the Pitman area of Lake Cumberland. Coroners said the man was later pronounced dead, and the death is being treated as an apparent drowning as officials work to determine the circumstances that led to the water incident.
