Indonesia launches first university-based AI technology center with Indosat and NVIDIA

For disaster response, Tech4Disaster is positioned as a geospatial AI platform that uses accelerated computing to process satellite and sensor data quickly. The partners said Indonesia’s location on the Pacific Ring of Fire makes it prone to natural disasters, and they are targeting earlier warnings and improved situational awareness for communities and emergency responders. The program emphasizes faster coordination tools once disaster strikes.
