A new poll released in advance of the U.S. semiquincentennial finds 88 percent of Republican-leaning registered voters say they plan to celebrate the nation’s 250th birthday on July 4, a higher share than among other party groups, according to Gallup and the bipartisan organization With Honor, working with America250.
