House Republicans urge Senate action on “reconciliation 3.0” framework after GOP passage; Thune pauses timeline, The Hill reports

House GOP leaders are pressing the Senate to move on a reconciliation package framework they approved Wednesday, arguing it is the party’s last near-term path to advance priorities before a September government funding fight and the 2026 midterm campaign period. Senate Majority Leader John Thune has paused the process, according to The Hill.
